Gifts of Gratitude Campaign
Photographers around the globe have been working on ways to support the community and document this time in our lives. At Northwest Bergen Lifestyle magazine, we’ve been working to help highlight the local businesses in our area and help them as they face these trying times, but I’ve wanted to do more. Many of you have asked about Porch Portrait projects but, with you, I’ve been sheltering in place following the Governor’s directives to help support our essential workers who can’t stay home.
We are all so grateful to the people who are facing this head-on every day - doctors, nurses, paramedics, police, and fire personnel. and more who are making so many sacrifices to make sure that we can stay safe and take care of our families. Their actions are inspiring and the community’s support has been uplifting. In that spirit, I’d like to offer another way for you to say thank you to an essential worker in our area.
I am so happy to introduce the Gifts of Gratitude campaign, running through the month of May.
For every e-gift card you purchase, you will receive a matching e-gift card for an essential front line worker. You can say thank you to a first responder, medical personnel, emergency care provider, grocery and pharmacy personnel, all the people who are making the world move for us.
Your gift recipient and you can use your E-gift cards toward any photo session: business or personal images, marketing photos, modeling portfolios, senior session, and specialty events. All photo sessions will take place after the physical social distancing guidelines have been lifted and the studio can reopen. Sessions can be held at the studio or on location as outlined in each session description.
Matching options start at $250 and as an added bonus, $25 dollars from each purchase will go to Feed the Frontlines. ‘Feed the Frontlines Initiative is a call-to-action to provide meals prepared by local Ridgewood restaurants to first responders and community groups during the Coronavirus pandemic.’ http://www.healthbarnfoundation.org/donations/feed-the-frontlines
I’ve seen the resilience of this community, the spirit, and generosity in the face of uncertainty. We will emerge from this stronger and safer. We will be playing together again soon, but until then, stay safe and well.
